Webster Community Chest: Neighbors Helping Neighbors

A Lifeline for Webster Families

When you are facing a crisis — hunger, eviction, illness — you need more than hope. You need real help from people who care.

Since 1948, the Webster Community Chest has been that help — providing food, emergency support, and hope for families right here in Webster.

Powered entirely by community donations — not government grants — the Chest is a lifeline when no one else can step in.

I’m proud to support their work. And I’m asking you to stand with me — because when we help each other, we strengthen all of Webster.

Serving Webster in Every Way

The Chest isn’t just about food — it’s about full support for families facing real emergencies:

  • Over 11,000 meals distributed to Webster residents in 2024

  • Financial aid to prevent evictions and utility shutoffs

  • Mobile meal deliveries to homebound families

  • Hygiene kits to restore dignity and health

  • Summer camp scholarships for local kids

  • Emergency aid for those with nowhere else to turn

When others run out of resources, the Chest keeps going — because of the people of Webster.

Why It Matters Now

The needs are growing, and Webster Community Chest is one of the few organizations left that can act quickly, flexibly, and compassionately.

But they can only do it if we help.
